George Latimer is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he has been a Member of the New York Senate, for the 37th district, since January 1, 2013, and was previously a Member of the New York State Assembly, from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2012. He is running for Westchester County Executive, against incumbent Rob Astroino.
George is the son of Ivan Stanley Latimer and Loretta (Miner) Latimer.
George’s maternal grandparents were Joseph W. Miner and Marjorie R. Roesch.
