Claire Trevor was an American actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Key Largo (1948).
Claire was the daughter of Edith Benjamina “Betty” (Morrison) and Noel Benjamin Wemlinger, a merchant tailor. Her father was born in Paris, France, to German parents. Her mother was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Claire was married to Hollywood film producer and real estate developer Milton H. Bren, until his death. She had a son with her former husband, Navy lieutenant Cylos William Dunsmore.
