Rose was the daughter of Michael Quinn and Johanna/Hanna Keon, and was of Irish ancestry.
Sean’s paternal grandmother was actress, model, fashion designer, and artist Elyse Knox (born Elsie Lillian Kornbrath; the daughter of Frederick Kornbrath and Hermine Sophie Muck). Frederick was born in Ferlach, Austria. Hermine was born in Vienna, Austria.
Sean’s maternal grandfather was Eugene Edgar “Gene” Dawber (the son of Frederick Dawber and Merle Pettit). Frederick was born in Michigan, to Canadian parents, George Dawber and Catharine Pennington. Merle was born in Canada, the daughter of Edgar Pettit and Lillian Bryan.
