Randy Meisner is an American musician. He is the bassist for legendary rock band Eagles. Other members of the group included Don Felder, Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Joe Walsh.
Randy is the son of Herman Meisner and Emilie Haun. His father was born in Colorado and his mother was born at sea. All Randy’s four grandparents were Volga Germans (ethnic Germans from Russia).
Randy’s paternal grandparents were Alexander “Alex” Meisner (the son of Jakob Meisner) and Pauline. They were born in Grimm (now Kamensky, Saratov Oblast, Russia).
