Pierce’s maternal grandmother is Lynne J. Brush (the daughter of Glenn Alvin Brush and Anna Harriett Adams). Glenn was the son of Willis Richard Brush and Hattie Mae Turnage. Anna was the daughter of Glendon Thomas Adams and Icie Ione Hodge.
