Penny Marshall is an American actress, director, and producer. She helmed Big (1988), the first film directed by a woman to gross in excess of $100 million at the U.S. box office. Her brother is director Garry Marshall.
Penny was born to Marjorie (née Ward) and Anthony “Tony” Masciarelli.
