Reilly Opelka is an American professional tennis player. He won the 2015 Junior Wimbledon tournament and has competed in many other professional tennis competitions.

He was born as Reilly James Opelka in St. Joseph, Michigan to George Joseph and Lynne Marie Opelka. He was raised in Palm Coast, Florida after his family moved there at the age of four.

Reilly is of at least 1/8th Czech, 1/4th Irish, some English, Scots-Irish, Scottish, 1/64th German, 1/512th Oneidan, and 1/512th Cayuga Iroquoian descent via his father.

Reilly’s paternal grandfather was named Frank Gregory Opelka (the son of Frank John Opelka and Helen Mary Keown) and was born in Chicago, Illinois. Reilley’s great-grandfather Frank was born in Chicago to Bohemian immigrants Frank Opelka and Anezka/Agnes. Reilley’s great-grandmother Mary was born in Antrim, Ireland and was the daughter of Irish immigrants John Keown and Margaret.

Reilly’s paternal grandmother was named Pauline Therese “Duckie” Briody (the daughter of George Michael Briody and Evelyn Louise Vincent) and was born in Chicago. Reilly’s great-grandfather George was the son of Michael J. “Mike” Briody and Teresa Cox. Mike was born in New Jersey and was the son of Irish immigrants and Teresa was born in Ireland. Reilly’s great-grandmother Evelyn was born in Chicago and was the daughter of William George Vincent and Pauline Mary Gibson. William was born in Warren County, Pennsylvania and was likely of English descent. Pauline was born in Chicago and was of English, German, Scots-Irish, Scottish, Oneidan, and Cayuga Iroquoian descent.
