Chris Botti is an American jazz trumpeter and composer. He won a Grammy Award in 2013.
His mother, Shirley Louise Stewart, is a pianist, and his father, Lido Botti, is an Italian teacher.
Chris’s paternal grandparents were Livia Maria and Serafino Botti. They were both born in Montevarchi, Province of Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, and immigrated in 1922.
Chris’s maternal grandparents were Warren C. Stewart (the son of John Franklin Stewart and Ella F. Collins) and Kathleen Stewart (the daughter of Melville Clifford Stewart and Kate Pearl Groesbeck).
