Paul Stookey is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a member of the folk group Peter, Paul & Mary, alongside Mary Travers and Peter Yarrow.
Paul is the son of Dorothea Magdalen (St. Aubrey) and George William Stookey.
Paul’s paternal grandparents were Mahonri Moreancumer Stookey (the son of Enos Stookey and Jemima Elizabeth Child) and Matilda Jefferies (the daughter of William Jefferies and Mary Francis Ould).
