Julia’s paternal grandparents are Rolando Alejandro Cavazos Carmona (the son of Juan Manuel Cavazos Caballero and María del Refugio Carmona Martínez) and Ofelia García. Rolando and Ofelia are Mexican immigrants, from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and Los Herreras, Nuevo León, respectively.
