Patton Oswalt is an American comedian, writer, actor, and voice actor. He is the son of Carla Marie (Runfola) and Larry John Oswalt, a career United States Marine Corps officer.
Patton’s paternal grandfather was John Lewis Oswalt (the son of Homer Benson Oswalt and Mattie May Smith). Homer was the son of John Joseph Oswalt and Mary Elizabeth Homer. Mattie was the daughter of James H. Smith and Sarah Alice Moser.
Patton’s paternal grandmother is Madonna M. Harmon (the daughter of Lawrence Gilbert Harmon and Edna A. Quinn). Lawrence was the son of Edward Freemont Harmon and Marie Rosella Savage. Edna was the daughter of Lilburn Garl Quinn and Carrie Mae Scott.
Patton’s maternal grandfather was Peter Nicholas Runfola (the son of Peter Louis Runfola and Carmela Mordeno). Patton’s grandparents Peter and Carmela were Italian immigrants. Patton’s great-grandfather Peter was the son of Gaetano Runfola and Nicolina LaDuca. Carmela was born in Palermo, Sicily, the daughter of Joseph Immordino and Frances Fricano.
Patton’s maternal grandmother was Mary Cecelia Brennan (the daughter of Charles Augustine Brennen and Cecelia/Cecilia B. Coyle). Charles was the son of John J. Brennan and Mary Ellen O’Brien.
