Mike Malinin is an American musician. He was previously the drummer of the rock band Goo Goo Dolls.
Mike is the son of Dorothy (Rearick) and Theodore Malinin (born Fedor Malinin), a surgeon. Mike’s mother is from Illinois, and has German and English ancestry. Mike’s father was born in Krasnodar, Russia, and immigrated to the United States in 1949.
Mike’s maternal grandparents were Francis George Rearick (the son of George F. Rearick and Grace H.) and Lillian Hartman Brown. George’s father was German.
